Vietnamese-owned restaurant hidden inside a typical Maine fried seafood joint
A Vietnamese family bought an existing fried seafood restaurant in Brunswick after they lost their Portland fish market to a fire. In addition to the standard menu items like fried haddock and clams, they offer a few Vietnamese/Asian items such as various bahn mi sandwiches, fried rice, ramen and egg rolls. It’s also a small fish market and in the summer, you might get lucky and find some sushi-grade bluefin. Oh, and online, you can buy wholesale seafood ship it. If you look at their Facebook page, you will primarily see posts for sales of boxes of urchin, whelk, jonah crabs, and the like.
