Great homemade food and a small market to boot
I stopped by in July 2026 and had a fantastic lunch of a reuben (pastrami, Morses’ sauerkraut, Borealis rye), a Moxie, and some Fox potato chips. Sat out on the deck overlooking a very peaceful stream that leads into Damariscotta Lake.
The market is inside an old building that is in dire need of some love (at least paint). But step inside, and the space is much nicer. They do sell some goods but it’s quite a stretch to call it a general store. They have a few coolers with ice cream, drinks, beer, and wine, along with a nice selection of baked goods.
I think it’s fair to say most people are there for food. They serve breakfast until 10:30 and then other tasty things until they close at 7pm. Closed on Sundays. Seating inside and outside.
What do they make? Breakfast options and then sandwiches, pizza, and salads. It’s all homemade, and very fresh.
